Whats fresh for October 9

Macoun Apple

This weeks new varieties (new as far as we haven’t brought them yet this season) will be the Macoun, Nickajack and Tydemans Late Orange. We don’t have many of the Tydemans or Macoun, the trees are young, so if all goes well in a few years there will be more. I’m excited about the Macoun especially, its a new apple for us, but is fast becoming a favorite of mine.
Also this week we’ll have:
-Prairie Spy Apple
-McIntosh Apple
-Jonathan Apple
-Coxs orange Pippin
-Hosui Asian Pear
-Shinseiki Asian Pear
-Italian Prune Plums
-Hardy Kiwis
-Tomatoes
-Walnuts

Nickajack Apple

This will be the last week for the kiwis and plums and probably for the tomatoes as well (though I may be wrong!) truly the last of the soft fruit from us this season.
More apples and European pears in coming weeks, and walnuts.
See you Saturday.
